Finding the Perfect Wedding Tie

Arguably, your wedding is the most important day in your life and each one of us look forward to making it memorable.  Also, with all your important guests coming in and professional photographers being hired, it’s only likely that you are dressed at your best.

For a man, choosing a tie for his wedding can often be a challenge. Mainly because there are hundreds for designs, colors, textures and styles to choose from. So how do you choose a wedding tie without being overwhelmed looking at the myriads of options you have at hand?

Consider the following tips:
  • Your tie should complement your wedding suit. Ties have the inert potential to make or break a man’s look. No matter how fabulous the suit is, wearing the wrong tie crumbles the entire look at one go. Now you wouldn’t want that to be happening on your wedding day!
  • Steer clear of flashy colors and motifs. Cartoon ties are a definite no in wedding wear and its best to keep those flashy colored ties away for your clubs. It’s always best to pair colors with your wedding suit. While you should not shy away from using bold colors, it should not look overdone and neither should it overpower your wedding suit.
  • You’ll never go wrong with a classic tie. When all fail, the classic ties are a complete savior. Pair up your black or grey suit with your classic red, green or pink solids and you’re good to go.
  • Summer wedding? Try summer colors such as sage, lime green, fuchsia, lavender, light yellow or light blue. You could also try printed ones in these colors. However, ensure you’re not overdoing it.
That said, always remember that you can turn heads by simply carrying yourself with elegance and confidence. So whatever you choose to wear, ensure you’re feeling the best!
